"ARE
THESE HOLIDAY TINS???"

The Peanut Pals website received this email on November 14th from Peanut Pals Mark and Barb Woodson:
"WE had an interesting request today. Our next door neighbor called and said she was looking for some tins because her church group was putting together some "CARE" type boxes for our soldiers overseas during the Holidays. Well, it took about 3 seconds to volunteer several boxes of tins we have been accumulating for years. You know the ones! The larger 75th Birthday blue tins and several others. I believe we have about 4 dozen altogether. And gee, these are the ones you see in the Antique Shops and on Ebay for $5 to $25 and yet they may sell in a box for 50 cents or so at our conventions. Well Pals, "Their Time Has Come". What a great opportunity to help our troops celebrate the Holidays! So with that in mind, please ask around your neighborhoods and groups to see if they need some "COOKIE TINS"."
Have a Great Holiday, see you in the spring,
Mark and Barb
The Peanut Pals received this FOLLOW UP email on December 19th from Peanut Pals Mark and Barb Woodson:
"We received some feedback on the Mr. peanut Tins. The tins we donated were all used and they even wanted more. They thought the size and shape was perfect for the boxes they put together for the troops. I hope the other members found a similar outlet for their tins.
Regards,
Mark and Barb, Have a Very Merry Christmas
